Giesecke+Devrient Stiftung

The Giesecke+Devrient Foundation's unique banknote collection, in cooperation with Frankfurt-based artist Pete Jones, presents its exhibition “Die Welt der Musik auf Banknoten – ein visuelles Konzert” (The World of Music on Banknotes – A Visual Concert). Banknotes are an expression of cultural identity and showcase the diversity of music: classical composers, instruments, and world-famous singers are all featured on banknotes and are being shown for the first time in an exhibition. Jones' photographs underscore the diverse facets banknotes incorporate.
