Sound Art & Archeology

Sebastian Förschl, principal percussionist of the Munich Philharmonic, will present a fascinating solo program of contemporary percussion music. The Bavarian State Archeological Collection will feature works by Iannis Xenakis, Andy Akiho, and Javier Álvarez – compositions that impress with their rhythmic precision, auditory depth, and physical presence. With exceptional virtuosity, Förschl will showcase percussion in all its sonic facets.

Hourly performances from 7 pm to midnight.

Pop-up tours of the museum will be available hourly from 7:30 pm.
