ROCOCO LADY BY FRANZ ANTON BUSTELLI
Original template for the poster motif:
May I have the honor? The gallant Rococo lady cordially invites you to the Long Night! It is “Isabella,” the somewhat hesitant lover from the popular Italian theater form "Commedia dell'arte." She was sculpted by the brilliant porcelain figurine artist Franz Anton Bustelli, to whom the Nymphenburg Porcelain Manufactory, founded in 1747, owes its worldwide fame to this day. Along with 15 other enchanting comedian statuettes, she served as ornamentation on the Elector Prince's dessert table.
