6:30 pm: The artistic career of Munich painter Magda Bittner-Simmet began at the Akademie der Bildenden Künste (Academy of Fine Arts). Determined and self-confident, she made a name for herself in the Munich art scene after 1945. Her first studio was at Leopoldstraße 38 a. She was part of the artists' and writers' circle at the traditional Seerose restaurant and had her artists' house built on Schwabinger Bach in 1972.
