Magda Bittner-Simmet Stiftung

The artists' house on Schwabinger Bach, with a spacious studio apartment in the attic, was built in 1972 by Munich native Magda Bittner-Simmet in the style of the period. As a sought-after portraitist, she entertained numerous distinguished guests here. Today, the AtelierMuseum preserves her artistic legacy. The venue brings Munich's art and contemporary history of the years of Germany’s Economic Miracle to life. Guest at the AtelierMuseum will be glass artist Florian Lechner.
