Neupfarrplatz Square reflects Regensburg's two-thousand-year history like hardly any other area in the city. An excavation on Neupfarrplatz uncovered large sections of the medieval cellars in the Jewish quarter, destroyed in 1519. These survived beneath the square to this very day. This document vividly explains the significance of what remains of the Jewish quarter.
