The exhibition building on Museum Island opened in 1925. For 100 years, visitors have been able to see original masterpieces, try out technology, and experience science here. Jubilee Year 2025 – sounds good! It sounds especially good when the chamber music ensembles of the Bavarian Radio Orchestra are playing at the Deutsches Museum. Concerts are planned in the Aviation Room (7 pm and 9:15 pm), the Musical Instrument Room (7:45 pm and 9:45 pm), and the Exhibition Room.
Bridges and Hydraulic Engineering (8:30 pm and 10:30 pm). In addition, you can experience the history and fundamentals of quantum physics in the special exhibition “Licht und Materie” (Light and Matter). Directly adjacent is the auditorium with the stage for the science shows. These you will find just as captivating as the guided tours of the exhibits, the workshops in the experimental workshop, and the demonstrations in the chemistry lecture hall. The Aviation Hall Lounge with bar will offer you a chance to catch your breath before strolling through 20 permanent exhibitions and finishing off with a view from the museum tower.
Tours, demonstrations, and science shows will be held every 30 minutes.
