For the Long Night, the Art Affair Gallery for Modern Art will be showing the works of Chinese avant-garde artist Jiny Lan. The co-founder of the feminist collective “Bald Girls” combines political subversion with humorous and provocative imagery. Her figurative and abstract works address censorship, power, and physicality. She critically examines social role models and, through her pithy aesthetic, opens up new perspectives on feminist discourse in China and beyond.
