The Regensburg Historical Museum is the central museum for the prehistory and early history of the Upper Palatinate and for Regensburg during Roman times. Artful stone sculptures, altars, and treasures of sacred art provide an insight into Regensburg's cultural heyday in the Middle Ages. Special exhibitions explore Regensburg's rich artistic and cultural history from antiquity to the present day.
